(More customer reviews)I was a consumer, who due to desk space, needed to replace a 17" CRT screen. I did not have the money to invest into some of the higher end monitors that had caught my eye. I searched the net heavily looking for something that would fit my needs and budget. Well I found an Acer and a couple of viewsonics, and while they may not be the worst monitors in the world, I have not been overly impressed with them overall. Anyways I have the monitor at home now and I must say that I am impressed with the quality of this monitor for it's price point. The quality on the image of this monitor easily compares with monitors in the range of $50 to $175 over the list price on this item. Plus installation was brainless on my Mac Mini. I just plugged it in and instantly had the 1440x900 resolution, no problems or issues. So if you are on a tight budget and looking an excellent monitor I would definitly go with the Hanns-G HW-191D. I personally had no dead pixels, the image quality is top notch and and the 5ms response makes this a great monitor for work, movies, photos, or gaming.
