I felt compelled to share this so others out there with the Sharp XV-Z2000 projector don't end up losing several hundred dollars like I did. When my first bulb needed to be replaced I figured I'd shop around and find the cheapest replacement one I could find. After all, the websites advertised that they were compatable with my projector and "guaranteed". I spent several hundred dollars and had nothing but trouble. Not long after the warranty period lapsed did the bulb ultimately lapse as well. Huge mistake.
I ordered this replacement bulb and you can see from the packaging and imprint on the bulb itself that it is genuine Sharp. It fired up the first time after install and has worked great ever since. Also, I wanted to say service was terrific. I placed my order on a Saturday and selected the slowest (cheapest) shipping option. The bulb arrived on Tuesday. Fantastic!
