(More customer reviews)I purchased this cable in order to transfer a large set of files from one PC to another (both running Windows XP). Both computers recognized there was a new usb device but were unable to find the drivers I loaded using the setup CD (actually, I ended up loading two setups since the instructions for finding the drivers do not identify their location on the disk. I thought a sub directory titled "USB Network Cable 2.0" would be the correct one since that is what the device is called. According to HDE the drivers were under the "Other Goods" sub directory which, as it turns out, does not exist on the installation CD. I found what I thought was the correct setup.exe under in a sub directory called Directlink 1.07 under the YC-110 sub directory; it agreed with the drivers on their web site. The device does not have any p/n on it or name to identify it.) After trying every configuration I could think of, including opening the computer and using the additional usb port on the motherboard, I gave up and contacted the seller HDE. I was also concerned that I may not be able to remove the Superlink program I loaded because it doesn't show up in the add/remove programs list in control panel. They sent me a second cable, which also did not work, and told me to use the add/remove function in control panel. Not helpful. It looks like I will need to edit the registry to get rid of it.
