(More customer reviews)I was hesitant to order this projector because I had heard about something called the "rainbow affect" from DLP projectors. This projector has the new DLP chip that has a color wheel that runs at 2X speed and also has the added colors on it. As soon as I tried it out I discovered that the colors were vivid, incredibly bright, and the images are extremely crisp in full HD. Both Power Point and HD video is amazing with no hint of a rainbow affect. This projector is WXGA which means it not only shows true 16:9 HD images, but it also is able to show the entire image on wide screen computers as well. It is also 3D ready and all you need are DLP 3D glasses. HD Video is incredible and with 4000 lumens you can even watch movies with the lights on. Sharp also gives you a 2 year warranty with a quick turn-around. My only regret was buying it from B&H Photo which lowered the price less than 3 weeks after it arrived and who refused to give me a price adjustment. (Amazon would have and I would have paid less for the projector if I had ordered it through them.) I won't make that mistake again.
