(More customer reviews)My bulb just recently died for my Sony SXRD KDS-50XBR, and so began the search for a replacement. After much research, I quickly found out that a lot of online stores, while cheaper, are not selling the original bulb, but rather some cheap knock-off bulb by Osram. I can confirm that if you order this bulb through StoreFrontOutlet, it is the original manufacturers bulb made by Phillips and comes complete with the housing. It even comes in the original packaging. I am very satisfied with this product as my HDTV is as good as new for half the price that Sony wanted from their online store for the same bulb. If you have the same HDTV as me, do not hesitate in picking up this replacement from StoreFrontOutlets. They are my favorite seller on Amazon!
