(More customer reviews)I don't recommend purchasing this lamp replacement for the Sony Bravia KDF-50E3000, as it is much lower in quality and picture quality than the one that my TV came with. Installation was not possible at first, as the lamp housing's connecting wires would not extend on the arm far enough back to fit the lamp properly into the receptacle. This is easily fixed by removing one of the screws on the arm which allows the wire ends to be further back from the housing itself, as I noticed it was supposed to be per the original. Then came the picture quality: I immediately noticed that the left side of the TV screen now has a purplish tint. I removed the lamp again and cleaned out any dust that might be on the lens on the bulb itself and the receptacle in the TV set, to no improvement. I definitely recommend going with another product or ordering directly from Sony.
