(More customer reviews)I was hesitant to purchase this item based on the limited information on Amazon, and it appears by the percentages of "people who buy this item" many others felt the same way. I couldnt be happier with the purchase, and the price I paid for it. The lamp is a Philips product which I believe is the manufacturer of the OEM part. The bulb comes in the housing which was a concern of mine as I did not want to handle the bulb. It is shipped in a box with good protection of the bulb to prevent anything touching it. Detailed instructions accompany the product, and it couldnt have been easier to replace. Full disclosure I am still on the first day of use but I will update if it presents me any trouble, it appears that it is a great purchase compared to the more expensive alternative.
