(More customer reviews)This bulb did appear to be an original Phillips bulb as stated in description. I had seen a few other bulbs on amazon and ebay that had a six month warranty on the bulb, but I am not sure that there is a warranty on this bulb. I looked back through the description and could not find one. That is the only reason I would give it 4 stars instead of 5. I installed it a week ago using dust free latex gloves and also blew the dust off of the cage when I took out the old bulb. Two screws and one nut to disassemble and then reassemble, fairly easy process the connector needs to come off also but it all makes sense when you look at it. 20 minutes tops for removal and install of new bulb. I did not notice the screen being any brighter than it was before, but still puts out a great picture just as good as it did before the old bulb burnt out.
