(More customer reviews)This attractive and well made windup alarm clock has saved us from being late many mornings since we live in an area that gets frequent power outages. The windup key is easy to turn and provides enough feedback to let you know when it fully wound. The clock runs for well over 12 hours on a full wind, but might vary depending how long you let the alarm ring.
I found that my clocks both ran a little slow out of the box, losing about 10 minutes or so over a day, but it was easy enough to adjust with the slider switch on the back (use a paper clip to reach in).
We also use these as travel alarm clocks as well.
Highly Recommended!

TheBaby Ben Classic remains true to its handsome original 1964 design with an ivory-colored molded case and a brass-plated metal base and bezel. The ivory dial with brown numbers and hands is protected by a shatterproof acrylic lens. The hands have white luminous centers that glow in the dark for easy night viewing. Although this clock is compact at 3-1/2 inches wide by 3-3/8 inches high, its 1/4-inch hour numbers are easy to read. Designed to rest on a nightstand, table, desktop, or on the floor next to your bed, this alarm clock works for home, travel, camping, or wherever ac or battery powering is not available. To turn the alarm on, you pull the alarm knob out. When the alarm time is reached, an old-fashioned bell sounds for about 10 seconds unless the alarm knob is pushed in to silence the alarm. As long as the alarm knob is pulled out, the alarm will sound again in 12 hours at the set time.
