(More customer reviews)This is the Real Deal. Not a substitute,but the real Philips bulb, which has been rated by many to be better than and substitute bulb.
Not only did it come in "cage" as shown, but it came with wires and connection; ready for installation. All I had to do was plug in unit and I had a picture I believe tobe better than the original (others had claimed this, also). Came in 3-4 working days. I'm greatly pleased and will return for future purchases. By the way, spend the extra $20 to included the cage. Why fool with replacing the bulb and taking a chance of getting the bulb oily and shortening the life span.
