(More customer reviews)Got this item for a Panasonic AE-1000U. It is mounted directly to the ceiling and screwed into rafters above the drywall (although you can mount it onto a pipe.) Its not the easiest to adjust, but it is relatively inexpensive and once you get it pointed in the right direction, it locks down tight and keeps the projector fixed.
The thing I really like is that it mounts the projector very close to the ceiling.
