(More customer reviews)This mount is a very simple, straightforward design that seems strong and durable. With this design, there is no messing around with adjustable arms. The mounting plate is a single piece of aluminum with holes drilled at the right place for your projector. All of the screws, washers, spacers, and bolts that I needed (and more) were included for mounting my Mitsubishi HC4000.
The mount lowers the base of the projector 4 inches from the ceiling, as advertised.
The wing nuts for adjusting the orientation work, but it seems like that part of the mount could be improved. It took longer than I thought it should to fine tune the orientation of the projector.
The only thing I can say about the bare aluminum is that you're either going to like the way it looks or not. If you don't like the look of bare aluminum, I recommend painting it before you mount it. I'm considering taking it to a friend that paints cars to get it done right.
Another plus is that the manufacturer included a coupon code for a discount on an extension, which I needed to lower my projector and avoid using keystone correction.
