I bought an Epson 8500ub and the standard arms from the projector mount were too short. You can use two of these arms on the back and the medium ones included with the projector mount for the front and it will work with just a slight heavy to the back. I bought 4 of the extensions to get it perfect but these arms are just a hair long. You have to screw them down to a 2 x 4 and cut off about half an inch from 2 of them then they fit perfectly balanced. I wanted the balance exactly perfect. There might be a size for sale that is between the included ones and this one, but I did not look hard enough to find it. It took me 5 minutes to modify these to perfection. I am very happy with the result. I got the projector low enough to eliminate the screen stretch and it is balanced to where I have not had to adjust it once in three weeks. Looks great and doing a great job. Very happy.

It will extend 2.5 inch longer than the standard contain extender (3 inch). By add the longer extenders can cover an area up to 17 inch in diameter. Notice: It only extend for our brand VideoSecu projector mount PJ2B. Other brand projector mount not fit.
