(More customer reviews)I bought this about a month ago to replace my LG170 projector which was a $900 projector. The vivitec is much brighter and has great clarity with the RCA jack hookups. I do wish I had spent the extra 50 bucks and gotten the one with the HDMI hookup, but it works for my purposes. I have it about 14 feet away from the wall and it gives a picture about 6 feet wide and 5 feet tall. The only drawback is that there is a little tab on the focus wheel that stops it from focusing out that far. It is ever so slightly out of focus. (I can not read small print, but subtitles are usually ok) I would recommend pitching in the extra $50 for the HDMI model.
