Ziotek manufactures a number of clever, simplifying wiring solutions such as this.
Or like this thing -- Ziotek Shorty Coiled Cable, USB-A-Male to USB-B-Male -- that got rid of yet another 6 ft of useless bundled wire that connected my printer to a rear USB computer port.
Check Ziotek out. I did and when I got done, for about $30, that mess of wires behind my computer is all but gone.
