(More customer reviews)This is an elegant Ceiling mount that is well made, and works beautifully once installed. Somebody spent a lot of time figuring out a pattern of holes in the mounting plate that will fit most projectors. However the instructions that came with it were not close to accurate for my particular projector. Fortunately, there was a way to balance the projector well on the mounting plate, by reversing the plate and using different holes. The second, potentially serious issue, is that the mounting plate fastens to the swivel base with three screws that go into keyhole slots.
When I had the new mount up on the ceiling and was twisting the projector to line it up with the screen, the screws moved to the keyhole and dropped the brand new $2500 projector to the floor! Fortunately the Panasonic AE3000U survived. There is a safety cable provided, and you should use it! Once up the mount is close to the ceiling, attractive, well made, and functional. But it is expensive, and the vendor did not reply to any comments or suggestions about it.
