(More customer reviews)The projector lamp I bought for $A200 + $40 shipping is for the lamp alone. The standard replacement lamp for an HP 3130 projector can cost up to $A1400 but it comes pre-mounted within a replacement piece of the projector housing (the whole plastic front of the projector unclips and is replaced) so that replacement takes seconds -important during a presentation if the lamp blows. Buying a spare bulb without the mounting means having to let the projector cool, undoing a few screws and fitting the new bulb - a few minutes work. I think I would rather save the $A1000 and spend a few extra minutes if the lamp blows. The unit looks the same as theorigical bulb and fits fine. Time will tell if it lasts as long.
